This concept art was an entry I had done for the Unearthly Challenge 2009 last year. The idea is based on the final stage of my game story where a dark realm ruled by the mad god Hades as the last stage boss. It is a place of dark misty and gloomy atmosphere, surrounded by spiky rock buildings on top of red fiery lava rivers at the base of the continent. At the center of the realm is Hades Palace, built by the image of himself, an evil laughing Joker face. According to my concept version, he always appeared as the costume of a Joker and deceiving people who entered his realm to be plunges into endless darkness.
